Follow signs to Minneapolis. Take 35W North to the Downtown Exits (left lane). Stay going straight onto the 5th Avenue Exit. Follow 5th Avenue to South 7th Street. Turn left onto South 7th Street.

Northstar Crown Plaza Parking Ramp ($18 weekday/weekend): Follow South 7th Street just past 2nd Avenue South. Entrance to parking ramp is on the right side.

From The East

Take 94 West to the 5th Street exit. Turn Left on 11th Avenue South, then turn right on South 7th Street. Follow South 7th Street.

Take the University/4th Street Exit, turn Right on 4th Street and go 8 blocks to Central Ave NE, turn Left on Central/3rd Avenue and go across 3rd Avenue Bridge. Go to South 7th Street and take a right. Follow South 7th Street.

Parking

The Grand Hotel Minneapolis offers our guests either valet or self-parking in the Northstar Parking Ramp. Event Parking and Weekend Guest Parking can also be done in 225 South Sixth Street Ramp.

Northstar Crown Plaza Parking Ramp ($18 weekday/weekend): To Self Park your vehicles, you may utilize the Northstar/Crown Plaza parking ramp located across the street from the Grand Hotel Minneapolis. The Northstar/ Crown Plaza parking ramp is accessible from 2nd Avenue South between South 6th & South 7th Street or from South 7th Street between 2nd Avenue South and Marquette Avenue. There is also parking access from 6th Street between Marquette Avenue and 2nd Avenue South. The Hotel can be accessed from the ramp via skyway, tunnel or by crossing the street.

The tunnel can be reached by taking the “Northstar East” elevator to the basement level, upon exiting the elevator head East (away from escalator); follow hallway and you will enter the basement level of the Hotel and proceed to the first floor lobby.

(Weekend/Event Only $5) 225 South Sixth Street Parking Ramp: The 225 South Sixth Street Parking Ramp Entrance is located between 3rd and 2nd Avenue South on the right side of South 7th Street.

Once parked in the ramp take the elevators up to Level “L.” Once at Level “L” turn Right and walk past the Security desk. Once past the Security Desk walk past the Elevator Banks and turn Left. You will see the Grand Hotel Minneapolis Logo straight ahead. Walk down the stairs, to the left and through the Skyway door, straight into the Lobby of the Hotel. The Front Desk is past the Staircase on the Left.
